We study the forces reshaping industries, from technological breakthroughs and shifting capital cycles to changing competitive dynamics and market structures. We then work backward to identify the businesses positioned to benefit before the implications of those changes are fully understood or reflected in market prices.
Our research combines top-down systems thinking with rigorous bottom-up fundamental analysis. We seek situations where our view of the future materially differs from consensus, particularly among smaller companies where complexity, transition, and limited investor attention can create significant gaps between price and intrinsic value.
We are deliberately selective. We evaluate broadly, develop conviction in very few, and concentrate capital when we believe the potential reward is meaningfully asymmetric to the risk.
What does the market believe today? What could the world look like tomorrow? Where is the gap between the two mispriced?
Our objective is not to predict every change. It is to identify the changes that matter, understand their consequences before they become obvious, and have the conviction to act.

Varyk Kutnick is the Founder, General Partner, and Portfolio Manager of DIVYDE Capital Partners.Prior to founding DIVYDE, Mr. Kutnick served as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager, investing on behalf of a family office and ultra-high-net-worth individuals through Merrill Lynch Global Wealth & Investment Management and Alex. Brown Private Wealth. In this capacity, he invested as a principal and advised on investments and transactions representing more than $310 million in aggregate value.
Before beginning his investment career, Mr. Kutnick spent six years as a professional skier, an experience that helped shape his approach to risk, preparation, and decision-making under uncertainty.
Mr. Kutnick earned a B.S. in Business Management, with a minor in Strategy and Entrepreneurship, from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder.
